Judith Williams built a cosmetics brand that became part of a much larger business. Cura Cosmetics Group recorded around €100 million in revenue in 2024. In a Forbes interview published in October 2025, Williams reported owning roughly 80% of the group.
The figure describes the whole Austria-based group across its markets. It is not a measure of sales in Germany alone.
From Munich to her own brand
Williams was born in Munich. Her parents had moved from the United States to Germany for their music careers, according to her Amazon entrepreneur interview. She initially pursued singing herself. Her official biography describes how illness interrupted that career and she moved into sales and television.
In 2007, she launched Judith Williams Cosmetics with Cura. The company’s account distinguishes the roles: Roland Kohl founded Cura; Williams founded her own cosmetics line in partnership with it and later became its majority shareholder.
Products in German shops
German television shopping channel HSE gave her brand a route to customers. In 2017, it expanded into physical retail with dm. The retailer confirmed the partnership in November 2024, and its current catalogue carries the brand’s skincare products.
Cura’s company history also records a UK business established in 2010. Its activities include developing cosmetics, selling its own brands and supplying retailers’ private-label ranges. Its headquarters are in Innsbruck.
Williams’s story connects American family roots, a Munich upbringing and a cosmetics business serving customers in Germany and beyond. The commercial achievement is the brand she built and the substantial business she came to co-own.
